A set up prior to reported earnings......................

About the first week in July I start looking at my portfolio to see which stocks are likely to get an upside burst after reporting earnings. Without selling anything off some positions are worth expanding through stock buys or options.

Options are the cheapest way to enhance a portfolio if your guess is right.

I'm putting extra funds to work on the following stocks (through in the money options about four months out...Oct. expiration)....INTC, GE, HPQ, BAC and CHK. Some of these are going to work out very nicely....and that will more than cover the loses on the others.

Not very scientific....but here is a good Oriental quote......

Those who have knowledge, don't predict. Those who predict, don't have knowledge.Lao Tzu
