I doubt it's his contract. Bob has tremendous following, he is very good. He is probably a bit upset with the Gardners (Motley Fool) because their view on investing is opposite of his (they prefere individual stocks).I like Bob a lot but wish he were more tollerant. The Gardners do not say that mutuals are bad, they just point to certain disadvantages and I as a long term investor in mutual funds agree 100% that it is not too great that they report what they held in their portfolios in August in December. Val
