Kevin

I am on this team. There is no possible way I could buy every single pick - I don't have that kind of bankroll. If I thought the team's following was so huge that we could influence the stock price that much, I would go out and max out my credit cards for cash and be a day trader myself.

You try putting a group together scattered out all over the country on different time zones, most who have never even met each other, and work out a method of selection, research, and get them to spend hours
digging, researching, picking it all apart and interpreting on deadlines - it ain't easy my friend.

The report will be coming out on Sunday now to give everyone time to read the report fully before the week starts. Read if you like, buy if you like or don't buy. Day trade it, hold it long term or short term. Just remember we are not getting paid for the hours we each put into this, and I am not offended if I decide to buy for long term and someone else decides to day trade it.

Ken W, thanks to alerting us about Cheryl aka Chris Smith. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Regardless of what the point of view presented, we've picked some very good stocks and we're trying to improve our performance. We've never been just a pick of the week
thread. We've done a whole lot more than that. I would like to send Mr. Smith to the library to catch up on his reading. Back to the intro portion of this thread Mr. Smith. You'll find the library.

Kevin, Mr. Smith and all...any good stocks out there? Let's take a look at some.

Back to Ken W.:
Regarding Millenium/aka Wall Street Associates, I just wanted to point out who you are dealing with and that it should be factored into your decision about buying or not buying a stock that his firm is involved in.

Kevin: Everyone has a differant style of trading. I am mostly short term trader meaning days ( 1 to 6 days )
When I daytrade, I usually daytrade stocks shooting up fast and strong, or doing the same coming down. None of our POW's have ever been good daytrades as few have ever moved that much from a Stock Write Up.
Are you saying I must hold stocks for the same legnth of time that you do? Excude me, we all have our ways of trading!!

As for as not needing TA, I will not argue that with you. You can talk to Doug R. about that. I could almost agree with what you said, not 100% though.

You asked about buying a stock before a write up comes out, I have done that before and have admitted to doing it. I am sure my 700 shares really moved a stock! LOL
I have also NOT bought POW's, before or After the write up.

Something you left out is that I have spent hours and hours doing research on a stock before the Write Up is even decided, and a pretty good chunk of time helping to put the write ups togather. Wheather I am in or out of a POW, I have spend hours and hours discussing the stock with others. Spend hours answering emails and post, doing additional research, etc.. even if I am not in the stock.

Our Picks are always ment to be longer term investments and we have not suggested anyone buy a POW before doing their own Research and DD on the stock themself. In fact, we decided on Sunday Posting of Write Ups to give people more Time to read and research the Write ups themselfs.
If you do not agree with us about a stock we have done a Write Up on, don't buy it!!

We do have a pretty good record with our past POW's. RECY , HURC, CADE, RADAF, MVSI to name just a very few have done very well. Some have since pulled back bit, but like any stock, they do not go strieght up non stop forever. All stocks go up , down, sideways, but most of our past POWS do have a trend UP.
I personnaly would like to find stocks that take off going UP sooner then some of our past POW's, NOT Slower!
RECY took about a month to take off after the Write up, then it went up more the 100%. HURC slowly moved up and after about a month or so had almost doubled in price. Once again, this is just two exapmles.
