Mike,
What are they thinking ?

People not knowing the bottom usually miss out the next run.

Does anyone on this thread realize that tech stocks have been
in a Bear Market since October? Is VVUS the only stock that's
down 70%--hardly! (EFII did it in a day!)

How low can it go? Depends how many gains the holders have that
they want to offset with VVUS losses, and also depends on when
the shorts decide to start covering, and, finally, how
aggressive VVUS is with their buyback program.

We may see tax-related selling through Christmas, but, after that,
I expect to see some big accumulation indicators on the chart, and, after the trading houses have some inventory, look for stereo or
Dolby Surround Sound upgrades, and a few "initiate coverage with strong buys." My price target for 1998 is $30-$40/share. This
company should have a $1 B market cap by any of the usual methods
of valuation.

Cheers, David

and P.S. to any Vivus production workers who may lurk here:
Have a Good Christmas Break--you guys and gals deserve it!
