Thanks! I completely forgot about the surtax on annual incomes over $1M.

It is not a coincidence that the two best teams in the NBA are in Texas and Florida.... and the 13.3% extra taken from salary to play in CA means CA teams have a huge handicap in hiring NBA mercenaries to field a competitive team. Yet some don't seem to think it applies to other industries that hire more than 13 players and a few coaches...

The ACA tax is designed to capture some of the income people like Romney make with stock gains by paying themselves with stock rather than dollars where the top rate was 20%. At the risk of Jerome having a stroke, I actually think the ACA tax is fair, especially since we cap the income level for the payroll tax.
