How did it make things worse?
Much more bureaucracy, higher costs, people actually having fewer options, pressure on doctors increasing, health insurance companies getting screwed over and consolidating to survive, etc.

I won't argue on this points because its too soon to tell if any of these R talking points will come true.

The primary benefit of ObamaCare is that more people can now afford insurance than before, but I believe that could have been done with fewer complications.


How so?

The reason for the complications is politics. The crafters of the bill had to play a shell game and hide the costs because otherwise it would have never passed, even with a Democratic supermajority in Congress.


What costs did they hide?
