Joan, We must be quiet about this or the chickenostra will see what I am doing and want in. <ggggg> Actually, VIX made a unified buy on Thursday and for some reason it didn't appear until Friday after I downloaded... gotta check THAT sucker out. Anybody can be right if they change the past. Of course that doesn't mean they will be successful. The samepattern we have now happened a month ago... a unified buy on the 11th and a non-unified sell on the 18th and then a unified buy on the 25th. So it's REALLY tempting to go buy some calls Monday. Think I'll ponder that a bit more... I would be going against my other indicators and the "unwilling participant" part of the VIX. Bill
