Gregory, I have very big problems getting used to the fact that I've became bearish. 3 already mentioned us in his post. Feel like a traitor. In Holland we call guys like us NSB'ers (the organization that collaborated with the germans in WW II). My biggest fear is that the bulls are gonna called me a "Candlestick". When that happen I prefer to be long again no matter how much it will cost me. We are now on the same side as Hank, Candle, yes even the most sympathic bear of all times, the late great Franco. They seems to enjoy it, I don't have that feeling so far. I also have lots of problems with postings doom & gloom stories. I'm worried that we will first have the fallout from the Asian flue, than we gonna hear more about the so called deflation-problem, than the rapid increasing wages will dominate the headlines, we gonna read about a tremendous shortage of programmers worldwide, then we will read more and more about IT-budgets being allocated to solve the Y2k-problem, then in 1999 the Y2k-fear will start rolling turning into total panic in the second half, followed by the real nightmare on 1 jan. 2000. My god, all this doom & gloom will help the nasdaq to break to the zero-resistance level and it will enter negative territory. Nasdaq at -385 at the end of 2000, that's my price target. I'm not able to trade options in the USA, not can I short stocks. So the only thing I can do is buy puts on dutch stocks. So I did a little research this weekend. Best move for me is to buy puts on Heineken, my favorite beer-brand. Next week I will be probably selling my mother. Well, I think a take some Prozac. Tomorrow I go talk with a doctor to see what he can do for me. You seem to have less problems with your new status. You never seems to have any problems at all. Maybe you could give me a few hints how to deal with it. Paul
