Mel had blamed it all on Obama (like he always does) , directly. I didn't see him putting any blame on Bush!

As you say, Bush signed it. And was also sympathetic to it.

And as far as executive orders go, I believe you will find Bush (and other pub presidents) did much more of those than Obama did.

In fact starting with Nixon the right wing presidents have been pushing executive authority way passed historical standards.

Bush did it even when he held both houses of congress. And when the pubs controlled congress Bush did not veto one bill. The pub congress and Bush had a deal. Each would do what they wanted and neither would get in the other's way.

And so Bush pushed his imperial presidency so far as to allowing torture and war mongering.

Bush was a disgusting president that dragged the country through the mud for 8 years, destroyed our military, bankrupt us and left a total mess for Obama to clean up.

That is the reality of the bush presidency..
