You know I have never discussed illegal immigration before because I have no idea of what to do? But I am with that Texas judge pleading for compassion handling those kids and to realize these are kids, " and are just like our kids" and did nothing wrong, so we must treat them well. Like we would want our kids treated. When I hear about the idea of putting ankle bracelets on 8 year olds I see red. Children are all innocent and precious. Something (humane) will need to be done down the road, but for now I and other people of conscience want these kids dealt with humanely. Of course the pubs don't give a shit about that. That legislation was the right thing to do IMO. If it turns out to be a problem then lets modify it humanely. Reagan gave them amnesty and the pubs didn't say boo, but let Obama do it and they are all over him. All I know is I would trust the liberals ideas and be wary of anything the pubs want to do, as I know the pubs have little conscience and too often are hard hearted. I am proud to be a bleeding heart liberal and feel sorry for anyone who is not. It does not keep one from making the hard decisions, it only ensures it is done with the least harm and insensitivity. The idea that people who are kind are weak is pure bullshit. We are as tough as anyone. Just look at how many more liberal politicians fought in our wars and how many took deferments e.g. Cheney, Bush and Romney compared to the McGoverns of the world who was a war hero. I saw the numbers once and it was breathtaking how many more dems fought than pubs. Chickenhawks.
