Like we would want our kids treated. When I hear about the idea of putting ankle bracelets on 8 year olds I see red. Children are all innocent and precious. Something (humane) will need to be done down the road, but for now I and other people of conscience want these kids dealt with humanely. < I think they are unrepresented minors from a foreign country that committed a felony by entering the country without documentation. I don't think we have the right to detain them, I think they should be immediately returned to the Government of their native country. "When I hear about the idea of putting ankle bracelets on 8 year olds I see red." If we immediately returned them to their country and did not detain them, then an angle bracelet would not be necessary. The US ultimately has responsibility for their safety, and temporarily releasing them to the care of "relatives" may be seen as a "humanitarian", but the US Govt. is still ultimately responsible for their whereabouts and their safety. My neighbors have GPS trackers on their kids backpacks. <Reagan gave them amnesty and the pubs didn't say boo,< The amnesty only served to draw in more illegals, I was not a supporter of this idea. In the end, only about 3MM of the 15MM that were eligible for "citizenship" actually became citizens. You will find that many, many illegals have no interest in citizenship. The tax consequences that comes with citizenship, etc. They simply want to be left alone and not be subject to constant threat of deportation. Since you are so concerned and compassionate, and believe that the responsibility should be shared and that the wealth should be shared from those that have and excess, and distributed to those that have less.. I am sure you wouldn't have an issue if take some of those funds from Alaska's "Permanent Fund" to help these poor children coming from Central America? PCSTEL
