Israelis are not brutal...it's not in their heritage.....you obviously have tinted glasses when you opine about the Israeli dilemma.

They think that if they are brutal enough, the Palestinians will throw up their hands and leave. That almost certainly won't happen. What usually happens is that you get a population that is dedicated to your destruction. History is not on their side. Given the Islamic terrorists a justification for their actions is what happens.
I think they HAVE to leave, or live with the Israelis in peace as minority non-Jewish second-class Israeli citizens. Perhaps third-class, being former Pals. If they don't, the Israelis will, in the end, have to implement some sort of "Final Solution".
