Israelis are not brutal...it's not in their heritage.....you obviously have tinted glasses when you opine about the Israeli dilemma. Someone is wearing tinted glasses and it isn't me. I do agree it isn't in their heritage. I am sorry, deliberately keeping Gaza on the edge of starvation is brutal. Missile attacks on civilians is brutal. Ethnic cleansing is brutal. Deliberately keeping a population in poverty is brutal. Looking at their history honestly is what the New Historians are all about. Israel has not been squeaky clean like they have been pretending over the decades. They recognize this in Israel. Why can't we do that here?

Israelis are not brutal...it's not in their heritage How do you determine brutality? I do it by counting bodies. In this current round of conflict, it's Israelis 1, Pals 300+! That seems pretty BRUTAL to me. In EVERY previous Israeli/Pal dustup, the numbers have been similar.

New Numbers, just in! Now that the Israelis have started their ground assault, where the Pals can actually kill some of them, they've jacked up their kill count! Dead Israeli soldiers = 18 Dead Pals of all types = 425 newser.com (NEWSER) – This morning's two-hour humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza was officially over at 8:30am Eastern, but in reality it didn't last an hour and the death toll continues to rise from the heavy shelling. The number getting attention is the 13 infantry soldiers that Israel is reporting were killed overnight, reports the AP, bringing total military casualties to 18. But the number of Palestinians killed in the nearly two-week-old conflict has soared to at least 425, and the BBC reports that 87 people were killed today alone. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas blasted Israel's ground offensive, calling it a "massacre." I really hate a blowout game like this. Gets boring after a while.
