I did get the same thing and have seen it mentioned on other threads as well. I just deleted it with only a skim of a read. But I must say, to answer your question, I get almost NO spam despite having my e-mail address posted in my SI profile.

I immediately removed my e-mail address when, a day after joining SI, I got an ad from some broker who was marketing some kind of trashy stock.

Next thing I got accused of anonymous manipulation of a stock because I had no e-mail address.

Well, so Joe bit you. Are there any teeth marks?

I didn't think so.

Did anyone besides me note Alan Abelson's seeming tacitly to agree that 4000 on the Dow was not unthinkable?
