Ok I'll bite...........what's up at TXN? How about the early multiples of the Electric Utilities for a comparison? Or Railroads........ole Ma Bell....or Television Networks? .......all were a completely new way of doing something that everybody was already doing? Unfortunately I'm too young to remember.......or wasn't alive when these things happened.

<<<<<Now if we could just get Korea to grow up and be responsible, we might be able to get on with the show ....this week will bring good news. korea has no choice but to accept imf criteria--they are broke--but may be demonstrations in the streets.maylasia has already told imf to go jump off a bridge and they are doing all the right things--not borrowing but reforming their economy in a free market mold. ....japan will announce small tax cuts and a sensible bank bailout. ......in 6 months japan will revive, the ASEAN nations will have regrouped, china, europe and north america will be fine and stocks will be higher. .....from now over the next few months will be the last chance for bargains for a while imho. .....i have been emptying my piggy bank and buying more ckfr.
