China's Jiang Hai and SAST Adopt Leading Edge VideoCD Decoder

MILPITAS, Calif. -- March 6, 1997 -- C-Cube Microsystems (NASDAQ: CUBE) the market leader in highly integrated digital video solutions, today announced that JiangHai, one of China's primary developers of turn-key VideoCD solutions, and Shenzhen Advanced Science Enterprise Group (SAST), a leading VideoCD OEM as well as a major producer of VideoCD titles, have selected C-Cube's new CL680 Advanced VideoCD Decoder to deliver next-generation performance and features for their new VideoCD players.

Sure it will, ESS's too.
Add that to China's money problems and you've just explained why this stock will suck in 1998 just like in 1997.
