Why will NT never be a credible Embedded OS? How about a bloated 1.5 MB kernel. O/S 2 2.1 was far superior to Windows 3.11. But, IBM failed to market it properly. Plus they did not eat their own dog food if you know what I mean (which I doubt). My point was to demonstrate that superior product != market share. Billy boy does not know what the public wants. Check out Office 97. It is instable, and poorly documented. Gates is a shrewd business man, witness his turning huge MSFT on a dime to become a major internet player. However, Gates is not a man of vision, witness his famous statement "the internet, what's that?".
