-- Vinik got out - but I believe at a loss if I'm not mistaken - as he purchased high and sold rather quickly. See the 13D's on Edgar. -- I also saw another big holder - Ardsley Advisory Partners - own like 13.5% or so. I'm impressed. Any thoughts about this investor owning so much VVUS? sec.gov Out.

-- Just thinking - Short Squeeze - b/c: 1. 10+ million short position on 11/15/97. 2. Ardsley owns 13% 3. Positive Conference Call 4. 1.6 mill additional shares to be bought back & plenty of cash to do so. 5. The new short position for 12/15/97, will be in this Sat.'s Barron's. Hopefully, it'll still be over 10 mill. 6. January effect. Out.
