<But you guys are all for quotas, affirmative action, reparations ect.<

Hey, I am from Irish descent.. Were were slaves, repressed, segregated, you name it.

I want my affirmative action, reparations, etc. too!

How did the Irish overcome these racial, and economic biases and barriers without MSNBC, J. Jackson, and A. Sharpton and the ultra-sensitive?

<Yes, because it makes sense. I have mentioned to you before if you educate a ghetto the ghetto disappears.<

Well, that works if the ghetto WANTS to be educated.

We have thousands of supposedly "highly educated" kids leaving college that can't find a job. How's that higher education working out for them???

<We (our society) abused African Americans, as a race, for 400 years.<

What about the Irish Slaves? The Irish were segregated, and abused? What about them?

Aren't they DUE for the way they were treated? What about the Chinese that were basically slaves?

Heck, even Bonanza had (Hop Sing) a Chinese servant on the Ponderosa.

I am sorry Koan but you need to go to any hood USA. There is so much hard more manual type work to be done there yet no one wants to do that kind of work. Education is nice for some. But what about roofers, bricklayers, plumbers, HVAC licensed contractors, carpenters landscapers, general handymen..ect. All the blue collar workers you have disdain for. America was quite a different place before LBJ's Great Society. Today most job sites for new construction are Mexican workers most probably illegal. I travel quite a bit is stunning to get up early like 6 am see the breakfast buffet at the hotel filled with these guys getting a pick me up before working 12 hour days of pure manual labor. There are so many facets to this story obviously don't even want to get into it but the American born (especially AA) won't do that kind of work anymore. The jobs and education levels you are talking about might make up a quarter of the population. What about the reality for the rest?
