"The cover-up needs to end and Obama needs to lay his cards on the table. If it turns out he isn't involved, fine. But we really need to know if our president is using the IRS as a weapon against his political opponents."

If the left wing politicos were not in collusion over this, their best interest would be served by taking every opportunity to come down hard and clean this mess up. They appear suspect by not having acted in such a way.

It is one more piece of evidence of this higher-up at IRS having a vendetta against particular political views, which is not acceptable at IRS.

One more piece? There isn't any evidence. Despite having spent millions looking for it.

Besides, where was your outrage when Bush was actually doing that?

G. W. Bush The NAACP was audited in 2004 after its chairman criticized then-President George W. Bush for failing to address the group, becoming the first president to do so since Herbert Hoover. [9] The IRS informed the NAACP that the audit was prompted by then-NAACP-chairman Julian Bond's speech, which "condemned the administration policies of George W. Bush on education, the economy and the war in Iraq." [10] Although the IRS maintained that the audit was an attempt to determine whether the NAACP had involved itself in a political campaign, the NAACP and Democratic Party representatives characterized the audit as an attempt to stifle criticism of Bush, intimidate NAACP members, and harm the NAACP's get-out-the-vote campaign. [9] [10]

Also in 2004, the Wall Street Journal reported that the IRS audited the liberal group Greenpeace at the request of Public Interest Watch, a group that's funded by Exxon-Mobil. [11]

>> Lois called some Rs assholes Get the guillotine out.

It isn't proof of a scandal, nor is it claimed that this incident, taken alone, is proof. It is one more piece of evidence of this higher-up at IRS having a vendetta against particular political views, which is not acceptable at IRS.

If she dislikes Republicans or dislikes Atheists or dislikes McDonalds burgers, that's her business. But when she uses that dislike to target particular entities it becomes a violation of the law. And that's what happened.

Let me try to break this to you as gently as possible. Rs are not nice people. Ted Cruz doesn't make us feel all warm and fuzzy. Even Rs don't like Rs. So please shut up with the nonsense.

Because of hers and the IRS leaderships and the White House acting in concert to obfuscate the truth, it must be presumed there is at least a possibility each of them is involved in a conspiracy. Maybe not. But the more they stonewall, the more suspicious it seems.

Rs have been presuming now for over a year. Where is the dirt? Huh? Show us the money?!!

I am sick to death of winger BS.

The cover-up needs to end and Obama needs to lay his cards on the table. If it turns out he isn't involved, fine. But we really need to know if our president is using the IRS as a weapon against his political opponents.

The coverup is going to end up all over the faces of Rs just like Benghazi. Trust.

Why can't your pols do something constructive for a change!
