"What point in time would you like to go back to?"

My last day of being 28.
The next day, on October 16, 1973, OPEC announced a decision to raise the posted price of oil by 70%, to $5.11 a barrel

Or maybe the day B4 Watergate, if I could change things and stop it. Then, I'd still have Nixon to hate, but we'd also have a much better health care plan, a plan to deal with global warming, and, quite likely an energy plan which wouldn't have been killed by Raygun.

Or back to

and keep things the same, cuz it was so damn much fun, but, on that night in '74 when I thought about using compressed air as energy storage, I shudda quit the hospital, gone back to school in energy under Art Rosenfeld at Cal, and worked on that.

Probably when folks were more concerned about the future of the planet than their checking account balance

I suspect that when Russia invades Ukraine again, which I predict will happen before the end of the year, the present may not look so glorious. I doubt the stock market will take the second invasion as well as it did the first one.
