I have also looked at J&J, Pfizer, Lilly, and Merck..... my choice for a health care stock was Glaxo SmithKline (GSK).... following the big sell off a few days back.

The 4.7% yield was an added inducement to add this to my portfolio.

BP is taking a recent beating because of their Russian situation in Ukraine.

If BP drops in share price to a 5% yield (now 4.4%), I will be adding some shares or options.

Market timing is far beyond my capabilities...but buying stocks with a strong future, and those that have been sold off excessively (for what ever reason) is more in my sphere of interest.

Currently there are some great oil stocks with great dividends that are being trashed because of falling Natural Gas Prices. Here you can just take your pick.
