The Newfoundland Government had better get their priorities straight or they're going to lose this thing. They are insisting on the smelter at Argentia but have a problem supplying the energy needs of such a large electricity consumer. On the other hand opposition is growing to building one by the masses. This whole thing is starting to look like the impasse between the Indonesian Government and Barrick Gold with respect to Bre-X (before it was a fraud). If they don't watch out there is going to be a new generation of Newfie jokes as a result of this ridiculous situation. We're getting more global warming from all the B.S.!

Winer, thank you very much for the last postings. I appreciate the effort you make to keep us all informed of the latest news releases.

Looks to me like NFLD is trying to "Hibernia-fy" Voisey's Bay. I'm hoping that the people of Labrador show some grit and secede from NFLD; maybe then the mine will start up before 2020 (when this geezer is long gone <g>.) Many people from Nain-to-Goose Bay/Happy Valley are not too happy right now with the ways of the Islanders.

Real sad times for Labrador and INCO shareholders.

Good Post Winer. The fact is that before too long you will find this VB asset on the balance sheet of Noranda as well as the remainder of the Inco holdings.
