Besides, this is what Axelrod tweeted.

"Unless he was demonstrably trying to scrap the ethics unit for other than his stated reason, Perry indictment seems pretty sketchy," Axelrod tweeted.

Not only has it been determined that a Texas governor does not have that power, there is more than Perry's started reason for wanting to shut the PIU down.

As Ken Starr proved, there's just no telling what will surface when you start digging! Remember, he was originally investigating the Whitewater land deal, didn't find anything THERE, so he moved along..
