AFAIK, impeachment does not create precedent. And the case against Ferguson is far from being "all fours" with the Perry situation.

So, no, Ferguson's impeachment does not reflect in any meaningful way on the Perry situation. As I said, if the Dems want to impeach Perry, they should do so and see where it goes.

But there is nothing criminal in what he did.
