<and it's something she wanted to do and her parents were treating her. You know, this was a big -- something that was high on her bucket list to do <

Like I said.. You can't fix stupid.....

Bucket List at age 9??

If my son had wanted to drive a Dragster on a closed track to break a 5 second quarter mile on his "bucket list" at age 9. Would I have gone out and researched were a 9 year old could pilot a Dragster? Drove them there, and signed consent forms for them to drive a Dragster at over 200mph??? No.

I would have said.. Sorry if you think I am "uncool", but you have another 50 years to work through your "bucket list"

Maybe they should have taken her to ride a pony??

If I give my underage son money and he goes and buys alcohol, the alcohol store owner is held responsible, not me. So it is the service provider. No convoluted thinking in support of the NRA and the gun owners. Our gun laws are barbaric and we should jointly hold ourselves responsible for promoting a gun culture. Instead, we should not shove that responsibility solely on the parents.
