Jerome - I would suggest that you Google "confirmation bias" where you will find many articles on the subject to which you refer. If nothing else it would be interesting to see if you are capable of applying any of it to yourself.
In response to your being leery of people who "say" they search for the truth. That is probably a prudent approach to them until their true motives are understood.
In response to your statement about one person's objectivity being another person's bias, I am afraid I miss your point. Your statement appears to me to be nonsense. Could you explain?

More jobs leave Taxifornia

I used to work at the BEAUTIFUL Deer Creek HP Labs building where Tesla now has its HQ, about a block from the Los Altos Hills border.
Execs with Tesla Motors will join Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval at a press conference in Carson City today, during which it's expected that an announcement will be made regarding a Nevada location for Tesla's new gigafactory. CEO Elon Musk has declared that the facility will eventually produce more lithium-ion batteries than the rest of the world manufactured in 2013 and promises 6,500 new jobs.
Just like HP in the 1970s and 1980s, when it was THE tech innovator in CA, exported super high paying CA jobs out of state, Tesla is doing the same now.

I wonder if Musk has a super beautiful home on the North Shore of Tahoe on the NV side so he can avoid paying the 13% "soak the rich" CA tax rate.
