The reason I ask is because these donations are not coming from our enemies........they are coming from 'US friends'.........Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Emirites, Bahrain, etc.
As usual, you start with a good point ... and then you go into your "I hate wingers" mode again.

Like I said before, the alliances in the region which ISIS controls and/or threatens are shifting with the wind. Everyone is a "frenemy." Every alliance is made out of convenience.

Today's Arab Spring becomes tomorrow's ISIS, just like yesterday's anti-communists became today's Al Qaeda.

It's in the face of this madness that we NEED principled leadership, to stand up to what's worth fighting for, and to exhibit strength even as we declare that we cannot be the world's policeman.

Then our foreign policy won't so easily be buffeted by the changing winds of Middle Eastern politics. (And by politics I cynically include war, a.k.a. "politics by other means.")
