Just look at ASND. They had some great things going for them in ATM. It slowed. Now a new player has entered the field, YURI. Now in post 240, someone (don't remember who) was talking about marketing muscle. With BAY and LU as partners, I would have to say that YURI has some great marketing muscle. I have seen several companies start alliances with LU in the last year or so, and they have really taken off. I can't remeber any off hand, but if needed, I will research and post.

BTW. I would say that YURI is a bottom buy, or at least my account is betting on that tomorrow morning around 9:30.

You may be right-my problem is that I have yet to see a justification based upon a cost basis which was accepted by senior management. This is a very difficult sell within major organizations.Another problem area -for me- is the establishement of the real need for the video component. As an example look at BASF-they did just as your company is-decreed that travel would be replaced by conferencing. In their case however they adopted the DataBeam audio graphics conferencing system.Elimination of the video component had a material impact on the operational costs yet the system proved itself very quickly. I am basically a supporter of video conferencing but it is taking the market place a long time to accept the costs. Every year for the past three years some pundit has decreed that "this is the year of video conferencing". Time will tell.
