I am long Apple. However, I critically assess Apple's activities. The question I have is that they had a uncontrolled hand-on for the iPhones after the presentations, but it was a controlled event for the iWatch. This tells me that it was a prototype and was susceptible to crashes. And that is what they did not want to happen.

And the issue of Ives being absent in person. Am I connecting the dots correctly or am I merely apprehensive?
