>>And now there is no way to reset individual boards one at a time, the other main thing I used to use this page for!<<

Oh you can still do that, but it's no longer intuitively obvious. Apparently there's a video to explain it, but I wonder how many will cross that threshold.

:(

Dear LoneClone,
... Instead of useful information, most importantly the number of unread posts there are for each board ...

The number of unread posts is clearly displayed on the board icon, in a larger font than was used before. It is easier to select than the small target of the earlier versions, especially on touch devices; the area is consistently 48px x 54px in size.
And now there is no way to reset individual boards one at a time, the other main thing I used to use this page for!
This is an incorrect assertion. Click the Edit link. Please read back on the thread.

Most Members have a few Subjects that they focus on more than others; priority subjects. Having one's read subjects that are a priority at the top - "at one's fingertips" - trumps having an infrequently read subject with new messages appearing above that, IMO - especially if you are a contributor. Unread messages also appear on the SubjectMarks menu. With the custom sort option, you can control specifically which subjects consistently will appear at the top of both lists on the SubjectMarks page.

As to screen real estate, see below.

I suggest you play around and become familiar with the new implementation and features for a while. I do realize that UI changes can be disconcerting to long time users.

Regards,

@Dima
