But prices already very high in many places regardless of low sales figures... Most people look at the value of their home or what they'd have to pay if they wanted to buy one.. Prices can't crash without another bad recession, much higher rates or lots of NINJA type loans again with too many not having skin in the game.. We have none of those three these days.. Prices should keep rising with easier underwriting and the yield curve steep. Last time they started increasing rates August 2004. It took another 2.5 years before prices started falling..
