Interesting that the Fairholme Fund (FAIRX) has 49% of its assets in AIG. Bruce Berkowitz is the manager of the Fairholme Fund. He won the Morningstar Manager of the Decade Award in 2010. He was sort of a "rock superstar" 'can do no wrong' mutual fund manager from the inception of Fairholme 12/29/1999 until 2011, when his fund suffered big losses due to what he calls "premature accumulation of financial services firms"
