I saw a woman with one of the giant Samsungs in her hip jeans pocket the other day. Of course I don't know how well EITHER device would tolerate being sat on.

This problem is really caused by Apples abandoning of the 4" form which I thought was a mistake. A 4" phone is expected to fit in a front pocket. These larger phones don't belong in pants pockets any more than they belong in a tool chest or sliding around the floor of a car.

But I also think thinness is over rated. Battery more important. They could have put more battery in and a couple of stiffener rails.
