In the sweep of this vast human cultural evolution, once long lived civilzations started to establish themselves there's always been a trending towards this kind of more reflective, moral, philosophical introspection. As the ability to settle down create surplus stores of food has offered human societies the time & room to evolve more complex interactions with a variety of new organizational structures & information storing arise & see an expansion of awareness of the interaction new skillsets & disciplines emerge.

If you think that long sweep of civilizations & a deeper cultural emergent self awareness that led to a more philosophical introspection began only with "Christianity" , you're on the wrong thread.

When Faraday was referrencing all truth aligning itself with all the "Laws of Nature" he's speaking of a "God" far beyond anything you seem to have any grasp of, i'm quite sure he was a pantheist, Biographers have noted that

"a strong sense of the unity of God and nature"

pervaded Faraday's life and work.

Get a clue finally, you'll live longer.

We know he was a member of a conservative Christian church”

The Christian churches didn’t consider him a Christian! The founder of his sect was deposed from the ministry in 1728. That sect is pretty much dead nowadays. You didn't know that??
