It really doesn't matter if Bendgate is fair or logical.

What matters to investors is its a nick in the brand new paint job of the iPhone. The question is not whether its going to affect sales the question is will it be enough to matter.

I don't think so... but we really don' know. There may be other *gates coming.

After earnings we will probably look back at these "Bendgate" days as very good buying opportunities, and similarly outstanding put selling opportunities, that some of us took advantage of, while others let them pass by. Don't lose track of the big picture. Nothing has changed. It has only become better.

I got my iPhone 6, workers in my Apple store, in a flash, made my new phone look just like my old.....apps, contacts, iTunes, all that stuff that you want to be just the same. I just turned around and picked up a case for a little extra protection, just like I have done for all my other phones and this phone that I have is perfect. I use it all the time. It was a seamless transfer old phone to new phone.
That's a great-sounding experience, indeed. How much did you pay, in all, including Apple Care, and how do you think your seamless experience would have differed if you had a different brand of phone with everything on the cloud, you ordered your new phone for delivery, and you just swapped out your SIM card and were done?

I have tucked the phone in my jeans and it slides into by purse nicely. I use it to listen to music, radio, to text and make phone calls. I have had no problems and I believe with all these phones that have been sold, this has been way overblown and the reality of the excellence of this phone will set in.
Reports of bending of previous models were extremely rare. It happens with this one because it is much longer, and thinner, and the build. And it happens with pressure being applied repeatedly over time - not just from a one-time massive squeezing force or huge person wearing tight jeans sitting on it, as seen in videos.

The bright side is that it's avoidable. It sounds like you're taking care of yours... adding thickness and support with a case, and taking care not to sit the wrong way.
