"You should first address those yellow boxes you drew that include pre-release data." I drew the boxes to highlight the only apples-to-apples comparisons that are possible to make at this time. Both Sept and Oct shares this year are increasing faster than the corresponding period for the 2 previous years. There is no reason based on this evidence to claim that the trends are worse this year than in the previous years. Sure, the real action will happen in the next few months, yet you chose to misinterpret what admittedly scant data we have to support your bias. The fact is whatever data we have does not support your statement. Maybe you have proprietary data that contradicts statcounter. So be it.
