Because money really doesn't solve anything (except for the super rich, who really need lower taxes so they can have more money to solve their problems.) Unlike every other area of life, more money for government services- like the CDC, or food inspections, or silly things like that, makes absolutely no difference. In fact, maybe people should just do their own Ebola screenings. We can trust everyone to do this on their own, and when they don't, capitalism will no doubt correct everything for us. You just have to wonder if the right wing wants total chaos. Do they WANT diseases to break out in the US? When a group acts with such wanton disregard for our safety as a people, I have to think that at least at some level, they either want, or don't care, if horrible things happen to us. No doubt they'll blame Obama as they always do- but this lies fat and flat on their doorstep. If they were the only ones who were going to suffer from their idiocy, I wouldn't care- but they're not.
