Agree on all points.

There's a big time tug of war with regards to money flows around the world going on and no one is talking about it.

Oil patch getting creamed along with crude's price decline.

I used to think crude cycle was so long - bad to be in it if wrong.

That's why I liked the semis with its PC cycle bust and booms.

The last 13 years have changed all that - perhaps we've now gone full cycle.

Think of how many new electronic widgets we all can buy if gas costs 2.00 a gallon?

If would fuel a global recovery.

Bob

Agree with all of it. Also your third paragraph alludes to a debt of understanding which generally escapes the 21st century Western mindset--so i congratulate you on that too.

Off topic..........of a political nature.......concerning ISIS

All those Americans that desire to become Jihadists......I say let them go to Syria.

The State Department should direct them where the bombing is heaviest.

The CIA should find some way to steal their passports after they have entered Syria.

Let them become cannon fodder in the middle east.

A dead Jihadist in Syria is better than live trouble maker here in the US.

I think even John McCain would like these options.

Kirk...no doubt that stolen oil funds the terrorists...

Consider the following sequence of events.

1)Defense Department buys 1000's of shoulder or platform fired missiles

2) The Military gives them to the Iraqi Army

3) ISIS captures them from the Iraqi army

4) The Air Force bombs the ISIS positions that have those weapons

5) The Defense Department goes back to Congress and demands more money for more Shoulder or platform fired missiles and a lot more bombs.

6) Some congressman questions the extra money and he is called "unpatriotic"..."and soft on defense"

7) The approving congressmen and the missile makers go out for cocktails after everything is approved .

This is how government works.
