Sorry to burst your balloon but a company can't cause upticks in a buyback program they can only buy on downticks or 0+ticks and unless they are buying blocks size is limited by SEC guidelines, also, unless the rules have changed the company cannot buy at the opening or during the last 1/2 hour of trading. Those 30 min can cause a lot of damage. Over the years I've learned buybacks don't overcome weak fundamentals
