Esteben, thanks for the rate info. 4.7% is better than Datek at 4% and much better than some others like Brown which is at 3%.

I noticed in an earlier post that you were surprised that Web St. had to call to confirm shares were available before shorting. I've never heard of any place that did not have to do this.

Are you SURE Datek doesn't have to do this also? I've shorted at Datek and they put it on the screen like it's an active order right away but in reality it never fills though it goes up beyond my short--and I find out much later that they couldn't borrow the shares. (Of course I've had successful shorts also--but the confirmed fill always allowed plenty of time for them to call and borrow shares before activating and filling. I would be very surprised if they didn't have to call first to confirm they can borrow shares...
