Here is my email to Eddy: Dear Mr Eddy, I know that you don't comment on analyst estimates, but having noticed that First Call has a composite estimate for FY98 at .88, I was wondering if Intevac had given guidance recently to account for the drop from the previous estimate of $1.02 ---or did the analysts arrive at these estimates on their own, by possibly taking into account the company's Japanese exposure. Paul Viapiano ------------------------ The reply: I believe Robertson Stephens/BofA cut their Intevac estimate yesterday to $0.80 for 1998. ------------------------ That's it.....what do you think?
