Intevac makes static-sputtering machines for the thin-film heads in disk drives. It magnetizes them and increases storage capacity. Does anyone have any thoughts on this one. I bought on 4/25/96 at 12 7/8 and in one week, the stock hit 21 1/4. Prudential and Hambrech both initiated strong buys on the stock. It seems to me that disk drive manufacturers such as Seagate and Quantum, or others may want to acquire this company to make it a division of the company.
