Petz, I suspect that is why the stock prices are down. So AMD and Cyrix is cutting into sales. I have a low end Media GX(Cyrix) and it works well, sells for under $1000 in Canada internet ready with modem, SVGA, 1.3G hard drive etc. That $1000 price point makes sales fly($1000 Can is $700 US more or less). I can go lower, but only by gutting the thing(tiny Hard drive, mono, slow modem, could cut $200) I was very happy with the GX chip, and so are the clients. AMD still sells at a small premium to Intel as there are hackers who insist on it even though the performance advantage is small and under constraints. Bill
