Government Progress I was pleased to see OMB set a more realistic time table for Y2k completion dates for the different phases of solving the Y2K problem. The emphasis on contingency planning and more flexible budgeting is also encourageing. The current estimate of 3.9 Billion $ still seems way low if the 300 Billion $ tab often talked about for WW costs is correct.I remain very concerned about the potential downside if the Government fails to rise to the challenge.
