Epi, it's hard to guess at. I remember during the Iraq war that half or more of we Americans were cheerleading the effort, maybe getting some kind of high at the exercise of our lethal power. In Germany Hitler was a hero until the war went bad. Women were swooning and babies were getting named after him. I think that if he'd have kept winning he could have sold the wars even to those who were bearing the losses. Look at how many families of fallen soldiers are still proponents of the war here. It doesn't make sense to me but it is what it is. Ed
