Strong wifi network ... As per my Network and Sharing Center info the signal strength seems to vary between 36 and 54 Mbps which "they" consider excellent. Is it?

Yes, it will be smart TV's. It's still not clear to me if I need something like a Chromecast / Roku in addition. As I said, I am not interested in anything besides regular TV and movies / shows from Netflix(?).
