Ted, because there are literally hundreds of liberal-leaning professors sitting in their ivory towers making pronouncements about how things should be.

And you have never questioned their authenticity. In fact, you have often appealed to their authority in defending your socialist ideals.

I think you must be confusing me with someone else. My uncle was a professor. I grew up among professors. My uncle cautioned me at an early age that profs are very well educated but beware of those who stand on their bully pulpit 24/7.

In grad school, I wrote a paper that was in direct conflict with a book my prof was writing......I didn't know about the book. He gave me a C and my only B in grad school. Later when I defended my paper in class, he threw me out of class along with a friend who gave me support. Ten years later, my prediction in the paper was proven right and the prof wrong. So I know professors very well and I don't like Turley.
