>> Why do you think we have the right to retaliate but they don't?

Iraq picked a fight with its neighbor. At the neighbor's request we stood up against the aggression because we had a national security interest in doing so. After we won the war, Saddam was uncooperative and had to be removed. Years of appeasement by Clinton made Saddam think he was in the clear. But Bush was not in a mood to be toyed with and solved the problem.

So, I have no idea how you think anyone had a "right to retaliate." They started it.
