True, That's why I like to read about market share gains and a diversity of products that gives an equipment maker a bigger foot print in each fab. Push outs delay orders regardless. Examples: Cohu has a test handlers that for the first time tests tri stacked memory - first time for any memory applications (wondering if it is for the recently announced Intc memory 3 D). Brooks said 2 of the 3 IDM fabs had asked them to make equipment that had previously been made inhouse by the fabs. Cohu is finally getting their outsourcing in Malaysia with in their own Ismeca facility - previous attempts at pure outsourcing flopped.
